Mapletree Audio Design Phono 4 SE Modular Series Stereo Phono Preamplifier

A high definition RIAA phono preamp in a compact chassis with separate power supply.

Low distortion NOS octal tubes (2 x 12SC7, 2 x 12SN7GT switchable for 6SN7GT). Hybrid passive/feedback RIAA equalization. Low impedance cathode-follower outputs. Two switchable phono inputs with 50 dB gain. Parallel line outputs. Front panel gain control.  All point-to-point wiring using silver-plated Teflon wire. Uses PS 2 power supply. High quality components are used throughout: Vishay-BC metal film resistors, Auricap polypropylene film capacitors, and Noble volume control.

Specifications: Input resistance: 47 kOhms (two inputs can have different load resistance/capacitance if desired).  Output impedance:  less than 500 Ohms. RIAA equalization: within 0.5 dB 20 Hz–20 kHz. Gain: 50 dB at 1 kHz. Hum and noise: less than 3 mV at 50 dB gain (9.5 mV referred to input), less than 1mV at 38 dB gain.
